Student Organizations

Student organizations provide students with valuable skills that cannot be learned in a classroom setting. The organizations help students develop leadership skills, teamwork abilities, and help students learn about themselves and their interests. Students have the ability to compete in regional, statewide and national competitions. The organizations at Barnwell County Career Center are listed below. 

 

Future Farmers of America (FFA)

 

FFA is a youth organization that helps prepare students for leadership and careers in science, business, and technology of agriculture.  Students have the opportunities to compete regionally, statewide and nationally in a variety of areas. Students have the ability to attend FFA Summer Camp, State FFA Convention, and National FFA convention which helps them to network with fellow FFA members, colleges and industry.
