Mechatronics
Mechatronics involves electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, electronics, robotics/ automation, computer components and control systems and combines them all together into a curriculum for students to pursue a job in any of those areas.
Mechatronics 1 focuses on safety, AC/DC circuits, hand and power tools, and precision measurements.
Mechatronics 2 focuses on programmable logic controllers (PLC), electrical industrial controls, fluid power (pneumatics) and motor controls.
Mechatronics 3 focuses on motor controls and starters, hydraulics, electrical test equipment and professional development
Mechatronics 4 focuses on PLC robotics, mechanical drive systems, and A/C circuits.
