Mechanical Design

Mechanical Design prepares students interested in the Mechanical Engineering Design profession. Students learn about design technology and techniques using computer aided software. Students will have the opportunity to create assembly drawings that meet industry standards and codes. The students whom complete the program will be prepared for post secondary education or entry-level mechanical engineering related careers. Students start with lettering, reading a ruler and board drafting but will eventually build to designing 3D models and printing them out on a 3D printer.
